(Heee's baaaack!)
I too had two opportunities to be a thespian and fell in love with the
stage design and construction. As a young teacher I was the only
faculty member who naturally looked like a 16 year old for Hello Dolly,
so my principle's wife (Dolly) had her way with me...er she drafted me.
I hated it. And I can't sing either. The next year they got me to play
Prez in the Pajama game...loved the character...hated performing. After
that I got the chance to run the stage crew...loved it. I guess its a
lot like what I do now...but then so is the acting.
