Yes.  The reason for the 10 days is to be absolutely sure that all of the
invading bacteria are killed.  Just because the symptoms go away does not mean
that the battle is completely over.  Any survivors can become 'super bugs' that
could be unresponsive to the antibiotics if they flare back up.
