Bill Wilcox:

Numerous studies in the scientific literature as well as national health care
evaluations in Canada and New Zealand, have demonstated the efficacy of
chiropractic care for treating musclo-skeletal conditions.

Many evaluations of Work Comp. cases have shown chiropractic care superior to
other treatments (or doing nothing) in returning patients to work more
quickly and at less cost.

I'm always amazed at how someone that has a bad experience with a
chiropractor is willing to put the whole profession down as quacks and "slick
used car salesmen". However, if someone has a bad experience with a medical
doctor, they simply change to another MD, they rarely condemn the whole
orthodox medical community.

The art of adjusting/manipulating goes back thousands of years. Hippocrates,
the father of medicine, thought highly of manipulation in the treatment of
disease. Ancient artwork shows illustrations depicting various forms of
traction, massage and manipulation. So, contrary to what you may think, our
paleo ancesters may have benefited from manual medicine from time to time.
