Interested in participating in a national campaign to raise media
awareness of celiac disease? Join some of the subscribers  of  "celiac"
list in this effort!

   The National Exposure Initiative  is a bi-weekly letter writing( or
e-mail) campaign targeting major media outlets through out the United
States. Past targets are Dr Timothy Johnson, Medical editor of ABC News,
NBC's Dateline and Oprah
   The intent behind the NEI is to have Celiacs and other interested
parties from around the country urge these outlets to do programs or
stories on the many facets of Celiac Disease. Letters can include
anecdotes about problems in diagnosis, the difficulties of going GF in a
wheat filled world, or simply short requests for coverage of CD.=20
