Thanks for the responses to my inquiry about enzymes.  One reply suggested
that Dairy Ease and Beano may contain gluten.  One recommended using
papain, and an excerpt from another follows.  I had very few responses to
this inquiry, so if I find anything out from the manufacturers, I'll post
it.
Excerpt:
   "I talked with the Lactaid people in February, and they told me that all
their products are GF  EXCEPT  the extra-strength tablets.  I use the
Lactaid Ultra, which helps some, but not completely.  They told me that
their drops are GF, too."
