For any of you that are interested there is a Celiac Sprue Research Fund
that was established last year through the Baylor Health Care System
Foundation. Dr. Kenneth D. Fine MD - a gastroenterologist and clinical
researcher at the Baylor University Medical Center, is the Medical Advisor
and Director of Research and states the mission is to better the health and
quality of life of patients with celiac sprue. He states the research has
focused on improving diagnosis and treatment of the disease and that
ultimately it is to find a cure.
