Folks,

I called Kraft to check on the gluten-free status of American Cheese
(none of their varieties are gluten-free). They insisted on sending me a
list, stating the policy is not to give that info over the phone, due to
possible misunderstandings. Not wanting to wait the 7-10 days for the
mailing, I wasn't real happy, but understood their point. Along with the
list I received today is a sheet called GUIDELINES TO A GLUTEN RESTRICTED
DIET which I found quite worthwhile. It basically goes through the
nutrional pyramid of food groups and specifies how you should conform
this to gluten-free products. I commend the company for this additional
educational material!
