Hello Listmates,

It's been almost two years since my CD diagnosis. My new GI wants me to
have a Dxylose test; could you please enlighten me as to what this test
involves and what it will show. I thought the follow-up consisted of blood
work to detect if gluten is still in diet. I still have many related
conditions, some of which (esophagitis &reflux) which where exacerbated by
the diagnostic endoscopy. I also have pain in my right calf which gets
worse when walking any distance or sitting. Three doctors later (they keep
passing me around) still no answers, any ideas? Just what is the procedure
(specific tests etc.) for follow-up at this stage?

TIA, Jacqueline
