Brian is in Charge of communications for general cinema. He writes below
with an update on the usage of the audio description at the Yorktown 17

Thanks for spreading the word. Usage of the system has been only moderate, so
please pass on the message that the better the turnout at Yorktown for Zorro
in the next ten days, the better the chances for more films more often. The
showtimes for Zorro are everyday at 12:45, 3:45, 7 and 10:10. One woman who
came out said she didn't like action films but absolutely loved Zorro.
Media coverage of the unveiling of the system was terrific, but in order to
further expand the program we need to show that moviegoers with hearing and
vision loss are actually using the system to justify its $15,000 cost.
Thanks!
