The following was part of a message to Jim V. from a few months ago.

The National Library Service now offers two monthly magazines
dealing with computers. PC WORLD is available in braille; if you
would like to subscribe to this magazine, you'll need to contact the
Philadelphia LBPH which handles all of the braille subscriptions for
 Pennsylvania.

You can contact the Philadelphia LBPH by e-mail; the address is:

COMPUTER LIFE is available on flexible disc. If you'd like to subscribe to
this magazine, just let us know. We can loan you a record player if
 necessary.

Perhaps you would like to receive a cassette book about computers
each month? There are nearly 100 computer titles available on cassette,
ranging from general books about computing history to specific reference
guides for appplications like Word Perfect. Here's a sampling of
 some of the titles available:

Computer Resources for People with Disabilities (RC 40805)
Jim Seymour's PC Productivity (RC 35200)
 Unix for Dummies (RC 42312)
 WordPerfect Bible (RC 35117)
 Using MS-DOS 5 (RC 34346)
Voice Communications Between Humans and Machines (RC 41168)
The Internet Complete Reference (RC 39665)
Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution (RC 22832)
The Cult of Information: The Folklore of Computers and the True Art
   of Thinking (RC 24404)
Being Digital (RC 39965) by Nicholas Negroponte
The Road Ahead (RC 41849) by Bill Gates

We'd be glad to make selections of computer books for you. If you
prefer, you could request specific books. The complete NLS catalog is
available on the World Wide Web; the address is:
