I have taken Tums every day for a couple years for the calcium.  The
digesting of food has been no problem.

 I'm pretty sure that
>taking Tums or other antacid all the time can't be too healthy.  Since it
changes the pH in your stomach, it would likely make food difficult to
digest.  Anyone else know about this?
