Yes, in response to Tori Hocking's question--my daughter's reactions when
she injests milk protein:
She IMMEDIATELY responds with a "funny feeling" and a shiver. So she has a
quick alert that something is wrong. Within seconds her face begins to
swell, esp. lips. Within minutes she develops hives over her face and
back. Within a short time (5-10 min.) she has chest pains and difficulty
breathing. Of course, we have an EpiPen (or used to!!) with us at all
times! And are always prepared for a trip to the E.R. Needless to say, we
are incredibly careful and read ingredients EVERY time we used a food
product at home or go to the grocery store or eat out.
