Interesting that in this book by T J David, called Food and Food
Additive Intolerance in Childhood, the author states that whey may be
added to breads, sausages, vinegar, coffee whitener, frozen desserts,
and beverages.  Vinegar???  That was surprising.  He states that it may
be used due to the lactic acid content.  I called Heinz on their
vinegar.  They do not use whey but rather something else to make it
acidic.
