Well, since you bring it up. The year I went heavy on the horse manure the
tomato plants were about 10' tall, carefully pruned for maximum height, and I
had to use a step ladder to get to the top. The neighbor kids said I grew
tomato trees. They also said I had a green ass. When the hurricane came near
the guys from PA who were visiting to cut limbs out of the wires made sure to
save the T-trees. They all went away with a choice picking. Since then I have
been too lazy to go to the stable (ever since the claim it had been built to
disguise a UFO crash site) and the plants have been dwarfs of their advertised
merits. Spring approaches.
