Union of Nigerians In Madison Area, UNIMA, invites all members of UNIMA, all
members of The African Association Madison, Inc., all Africans, all friends
of Africa in Madison and environ and the General Public to a celebration of
the 39th Anniversary of Nigeria's Independence from Britain on Saturday, Oct.
2, 1999.

Activities start at 11:00 AM with a picnic and novelty soccer match between
the local Nigerian Eleven and the African Eleven at Elver Park. Elver Park is
east of Woodmans on Gammon Road.

The rest of the activities is at the Mills Street Neighborhood Center, 29 S.
Mills Street, Madison, WI beginning 6:00 PM.
There will be Traditional Dances, Fashion Show, Youth Recognition and Party
Dance with DJ Lasisi.
Bring your family and invite a friend. Spread the word. We are counting on
you.
