TRAINING OFFICER 2 – CONFIDENTIAL MADISON (AREA 8) - REANNOUNCEMENT
JOB ANNOUNCEMENT CODE: 00766

University of Wisconsin - Madison; Office of Human Resources, Human
Resource Development. Starting pay is between $32,558 and $48,088 per year,
depending upon qualifications, plus excellent benefits. This position is
not included in a bargaining unit.

JOB DUTIES: Manage professional development/educational series in an
educational environment; design and develop Web pages which include the
creation of forms and course material download capabilities; collaborate
with internal and external groups (multiple offices/departments/colleges);
facilitate collaborative design team groups; create, research, design and
present professional development/education workshops; employ technology to
deliver professional development/educational workshops via face-to-face and
asynchronous methods such as video, Internet applications, CD ROM,
streaming multimedia; research, evaluate and recommend products and best
practices to facilitate the delivery of professional development and
education via electronic networks; communicate with diverse populations in
an educational environment via oral, written and electronic media. Well
qualified candidates will have progressively responsible work experience
designing and developing Web pages and developing and providing a variety
of training, especially in an educational environment. Knowledge required:
Adult learning needs in an educational environment; Web-based technology
including ASP, SQL, CGI scripts and Java; software including Netscape,
Explorer, Front Page, HTML Pro; presentation technology and web-based
(including streaming multimedia) systems; group facilitation, assessment
and evaluation methods; effective verbal and written communication and
problem-solving skills.
