Yes, it is true that AFRICA FEST is happening again in grand style.
It's at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center.

The Count Down to the second Show Time begins.  It's SIX days to go.
Yes, SIX days to Show Time.  You will see it, hear it, smell it, feel it or
experience it happen again.  It will be big, good and FREE.  You cannot
afford to miss it.  No excuses.  It's purely for you, you and you.  There is
so much in it for you.

My hat is off to those who spent sleepless hours making it to happen.
They are, but not limited to the AAM Executive Committee; Festival
Planning & Implementation Committee; Activities & Program Subcommittee;
Finance & Fundraising Subcommittee; Marketing & Promotion Subcommittee;
Communication Subcommittee and Monitoring & Evaluation Subcommittee.
Thank you for your loving, caring and sharing desire.  We appreciate your
time
and commitment to being a player rather than a spectator.  You made such a
difference.

Fellow Africans and Friends of Africa, here is an opportunity to be part of
the
team that is making AFRICA FEST '99  happen.  We need you as a volunteer to
assist participating performers, artists, vendors, exhibitors and the
audience during

Doors to the Terrace are open at 8:00 AM.   The Show Time is 10:00 AM  till
6:00 PM
concluding with a carnival/masquerade led by the Sierra Leonean Gorboi
around the
Capitol Square.  Truly, it will be BIG and FREE.
