Kweku Ananse and the Sweet Vibrations, playing traditional and contemporary
African music,
will perform this Saturday, June 24, from 4:45 to 5:45 pm as part of the
festival "Celebrate Madison!"
at the Madison Civic Center, outdoor stage on Henry St. (behind the Civic
Center), free and open to the public.

For Dancers:
We are forming an African dance group to perform at Africa Fest 2000 in
August. Dancers with a background in African dance who would like to
participate in this new group please reply to this address or call one of
the numbers below. To perform, you must attend all rehearsals and learn the
dances. The first rehearsal is Tuesday, June 27, 7-9 pm, at Lathrop Hall on
the UW Madison campus. (Lathrop Hall is on University Ave. between Mills
St. and Brooks St., across from Grainger Hall)
