Gotta say that I found the juxtaposition of my urban peyote  and your
peyote-country peyote stories interesting.

I think, somehow, that the Willie Nelson/Tom McGuane outlaw culture
atmosphere, set where the taste of the buttons is no different from the
taste enjoyed every time the world makes you eat dirt, makes for a more
fitting vignette than does my gritty (pun intended) John Retchy in the
underground opus.
