Not to my knowledge.  Alcohol itself is out because it's fermented.  I
asked Ray about herbal alternatives and he gave me a cryptic answer about
checking into Native American folklore.  If anybody's got any good ideas,
I'd like to hear them too.  Tried that Kava kava stuff, it was a complete
waste.  You can take a 20 or 30 capsules to absolutely no effect.

        My significant other would happily join me in attempting Paleo,
but has a probelm with the no-beer rule. Is there any acceptable
alcoholic substitute on the Paleo diet? I know that Neander-Thin says the
only good intoxicants are herbal, but they aren't legal.....  Any ideas?
