Muriel Hykes <[log in to unmask]> asked:

>(Didn't I read that rye has gluten in it too?)

Yes. Here's a summary of the ones with gluten: wheat, rye, barley, spelt,
faro, triticale, kamut, bulgur and possibly oats. Whether oats has gluten
is controversial. The problem is due to the way it's harvested and
transported, and being very close in size to wheat it can't be separated
out at the mills. It invariably will be contaminated with wheat.
