It won't be at home here, either. Too wet and the winter's too mild.
Why not give one a try? Depending on how far south in Texas you are,
the conditions might be more like the high plains than here. Alkaline soil?

you can see, it isn't expensive. Their plants are small, fresh, and vigorous.
