I have often heard that nuts are fattening, but only from
people not on this type of diet. I have also noticed that people who are
just beginning this type of diet, have a hard time seeing past preconceived
ideas about diet and health. Most readings I have seen on this list, are
from people who have been trying Neanderthin for two, to six months. My
household and I, have been doing this for over four years now. Ray, on the
other hand, has it over all of us. I've also noticed that people think this
is an instant cure-all, when in reality, the true benefits take time. As for
the references of whether domestic beef or game is better for you, sure, I
would rather have game, but who can afford it? Just the fact of eliminating
the forbidden food, leaves your body healthier than not. Until the human
race lets the forest grow back, I see no point in reducing wild populations
any further. On the other hand I do support the wild game farms here in
Texas, and else where, but then again, who can afford them? I've always
thought this was a diet for any one, not just the rich and bourgeois. Its
alright to be purist, but lets be practical.
