Thanks for the welcome, Beverle!  I didn't realize how many here were once
vegetarians.
I like it!

I still have ethical concerns about treatment of animals, too (as I suspect
many in this group do).  But I think my soft heart and idealistic mind are
getting a grip on my place  in this world, and boy, is life getting easier!
