When you've politely explained that Satanists do not mutilate cows or
cats, sacrifice babies, invert Christian rituals, do random acts of
violence, and spray paint grafitti under bridges enough times your sense
of humor goes to Hell in a handbasket when dealing with common
misinformation. The most annoying form of that misinformation is the
idea that Satanists are somehow Christians that do everything in
reverse. Nothing could be further from the truth, but an in depth
discussion would be outside the scope of this mailing list, save that
it commands utter disrespect of the current facsination of low-fat
starvation dieting (see Satan 2:7-15), and that we do as much as we can
to dethrone inconvientient falsehood which dominates us. As others have
states, the best way is to show, not tell.
Briefly discussing Troy's points on totemic vs. agricultural
religions, Satanism is bassicly a Totemic religion with a very
panthiestic base. The idea is to treat mankind as totally carnal, and
nothing more and nothing less than another animal, (except that man is
the most viscious animal of all).
