First, thanks for all the great responses to my post about
kindergarten. I printed them all out and will share the good ideas with
the teacher, as I do believe she would be receptive. Apparently, the
teachers have been well-trained in this subject, and all have received
instruction on the use of an epi-pen. They keep epi-pens in the child's
classroom in a secure place, and they take them on field trips in their
emergency kit, too. There are other food-allergic children in the
school...sounds like the beginning of a local support group, eh?
