You are right Mark to check with the company about the dairy status.
Assuming that it is for meat so therefore safe could be trouble. At our
kosher market there is a big section with all kinds of BBQ sauces, hot
sauces etc. I always get a kick because there is a big sign alerting you
to the fact that one of the chicken wing sauces contains dairy,
therefore making it not kosher for chicken that it is intended for.  Its
great that the sign is there because many folks would assume that it is
ok for meat since its being sold in a kosher market.  Funny, huh?
