Hi,

I'm a newly-diagnosed lactose intolerant and I have a question about one
of my most favorite foods, pizza. I understand that mozzarella and
parmesan are comparatively low in lactose. But before I was diagnosed, I
had a terrible reaction to pizza.

So, what is it? Is it in the crust? When I make pizza, I do not put milk
in the crust. Do restaurants use milk powder in their crusts? Would I be
able to better tolerate my homemade pizza?

I'm experimenting with various foods, but I'm afraid to try pizza
because I don't want to have that reaction again.

Thanks much,

Pam
