The food allergy network newsletter of September or October announced that
Burger King had reformulated its coating for french fries to eliminate wheat and
milk ingredients.
I was in Florida last week, and asked to read the box the fries came from before
ordering. There were no milk ingredients or wheat ingredients; the coating was
made from rice flour.
I went to another Burger King in Pennsylvania this week, and though the ingredients
were not identical to those in Florida, there was not milk or wheat in the product, either.
I am checking at each Burger King before ordering to make sure they no longer are
using the old stock of the "Stealth Fries" that had a wheat and milk based coating.
