I believe I have the same model you are talking about (bought it at the
local Service Merchandise about a year ago). I made jerky in it once.
Worked fine, took about a day or so (longer than I expected, but then
again I was at work during the day so I may have been done earlier).
One thing - it stunk up my whole appartment during the process. The
smell does go away quickly, though.
