My son adores the pork rinds.
He prefers them over any meat or fat food.
As long as he is getting some fresh meat or fish every day, is it OK to have
a lot of pork rinds? I add fat on top of them, like melted pork fat or some
other fat.
I also give him potassium as the pork rinds have sodium in them.
I read a study of how they kept 3 men on meat/fat only and they did very
well. Their bacterial populations went way down, harmful bacteria went down.
The portions seemed very small, also I think they ate 95% fat.
Would a 95% fat diet be safe for my son? Also, how do you possibly measure
this? I just try to give as much fat as possible, pork fat, olive oil, tried
buffalo fat but found it very chalky.
Also, this study was done BEFORE antibiotics and all their resultant damage
to intestines. It was done on healthy subjects.
