The most carnivorous Primates (besides Hominids) are Swamp Baboons in the
Old World and Capuchin Monkeys in the New World.  Their large intestines
are shorter relative to their small intestines than any other Primates
except Hominids.  Their hands also most closely resemble those of humans
(more so than even chimps).  I guess squirming animals are hard to hold!
