Dear Peng;
Understanding one's problem is indeed the first step.  So right you are.
I wonder if you would also consider the possibility that what follows
understanding is a requisite for the necessary tools essential to the
amelioration of the problem.... As a matter of fact, that may be one of
the reasons why you may have chosen to advance your education, in part
to enhance your understanding, and in part, in order to acquire skills
and information on 'tools'
Your psychiatrist, as well as other mental health professionals, I would
hope, do have these tools and in that fashion they can join with you as
you quest solutions.
