Dear Robert,

In the book CANCER, DISEASE OF CIVILIZATION, the author found that humans
thrived on meat. It seemed to be better if the meat was not overcooked. But
cultures did well on cooked or raw meat.

Explorers did very poorly who lived on processed foods such as bacon, flour,
sugar, tea.

I got the impression from the book that as long as you got some fresh meat
every day, you could still also have some bacon and processed meats and/or
overcooked meats and still be OK. The main thing was to get fresh meat every
day either raw or at least not overcooked.

What does the list think?

Mary
