We had already made that decision when I was pregnant. School is not in
our plans at all.

It is amazing to me what junk is fed to young children from the time
they can eat their first bite. I was having lunch with a mother the
other day. Her one year old's nose was full of green mucus, and she was
giving her some buttered noodles, a glass of milk, some white bread,
followed by a bowl of ice cream. When I told her that I don't give Laci
dairy foods or grains, because she has gotten colds soon after eating
such foods, she said her kids weren't allergic to anything and they could
eat this....Every restaurant has a child's menu that is nothing but
poison. It's pathetic. - And we're considered weird.... I'm hoping that
Laci will notice that she feels awful when she eats grains and candy now,
and will teach herself what's right to consume. We'll see...
