Like cockroaches, they've reached a very nice niche. By more
evolved I am talking about the transition in humans from a normal primate
to what Morris calls "a brainy, bipedal wolf."

Such as pack hunting, etc. I don't want to say if gregariousness
or misanthropy is a more evolved characteristic until I know more about it.

That is because you are looking at reptiles, a very old form of
life. I am looking strictly at mamals, and am using the great cats more
as an example. Caveat: the Naga -do- refer to themselves as Serpents.
With the sample that Morris uses, Europe and America, the people are
acting in a typically ape-like fassion. With Satanists you have people
accting "catty." Perhaps the comparison comes from the cat-like features
given by a decorated skull (the devil as drawn in European art for the
longest time, and even into today, is a very Turanian {hence, decorated
skull} looking man. Check out any Ugar tribesman {from which the English
word "Oger" comes from} to see the resemblance). Dog might be another
example. Wolves are quite facist in their pack behavoirs. Wild dogs are
more communal. Without jumping to much from religion to race to
politics, the philosopher Karl Marx formed his opinion of Primative
Communism by looking at Ural-Atic people in his own time.
Now, by preditory I do -not- mean bully! There is an important
distinction here. Normal preditors may be nasty bastards, but they
rarely count as bullies. A Satanist is more likely to beat a bully
within an inch of his life (or to death if need be) rather than watch
such a wretched person torment his peers. Remember that the Church of
Satan's philosophy of "Might Makes Right" -comes from- being burnt alive
at the stake. They saw that might is not a luxery, but a necsity to
make sure that those who are scientiffically or idiologically right are
able to keep themselves alive against those who would kill to keep the
esablished order in tact.
