I think all h/g people today live have marrigies, wich
(among other things, but a very impirtant part)
ensures that women get the meat they need and men get gathered food.
Probably it has been like this all since the beginning.
(Chimpansee males give meat to females (to get sex)).
So the difference between genders in labor does not necessarily
imply that there is a corresponding difference in food needs.
