Margo,
We have a child in our elementary school with my son Kevin that is severely
allergic to peanuts and cannot eat lunch in the cafeteria.  Instead on banning
pb &j they make the kid eat basically by himself with a volunteer or
something.  The peanut thing seems to be worse than say milk or wheat because
even being in the same room with the culprit peanut causes life-threatening
problems, where I don't know of anyother common substance that causes
reactions like that.  Do you?  Jane
