It's kind of a long story now. He was put on Nutramagen when his only symptom
was a high eosinophil count. It made him vomit and he didn't want to drink.
The pedi then put him back on breast milk (I pumped for almost 8 months; he
never breastfed after 3 weeks in the hospital). Now I see that Nutramagen has
16% casein which I don't understand at all.

Is your son gaining normally now that he is off dairy? I'm glad his heart
problem resolved itself!

Why don't most doctors know this? I am surprised that with Jonathan's slow
growth, high eos count, and now eczema that they hadn't thought of it before.
Why are pediatricians so stubborn when it comes to dairy allergies? It's my
son's pedi nephrologist who is finally helping us. And his pedi STILL puts no
merit to it even though this specialist thinks there is something to
it!!!!!!!!

Thanks Jessica:)
