So far the 2 different suspensions we've used we're not a problem.  Be
careful with the chewables also as they use lactose, but it's clearly
labeled in the ones I've looked at.  Ask the pharmacist for the
ingredients listing for the product.  A reaction to amox or other drug
would most likely be a true allergy reaction like hives and breathing
difficulties.  When we have reaction to inactive ingredients it tends to
be stomach upset and eczema which is the normal food allergy reaction for
us.

This is what we thought too as our daughter seemed to be reacting to the
first amoxicillan  we tried.  Turns out it was the generic brand of cold
medicine we were also giving her.  We'd switched brands at the same time
will filled the script.  Not exactly sure which particular ingred.
