No "gastro" has ever said anything to me either, but my gut reacts to the
stuff with a vengeance! Sorbitol is a sweetener used in many 'diet'
products, like candy and chewing gum. It is also a laxative. My local
pharmacy sells it in little bottles as a laxative. I have Crohn's, so you
can imagine the havoc it causes. It is also in many baked products, and
some cereals.
Also be careful with glicerin, which is also a laxative and it is sneaked
into many cereals, so beware.
Hope Daniel is ok,
Best wishes,
Monica
