Problem with cell phones is keeping them charged. The less often there's an
emergency, the more likely it is that the phone will be forgotten.

There is at least one school system that gives cell phones to the
*teachers* of children with life-threatening conditions, and also to the
school nurse. No matter where she is, she can be reached. Quite a
progressive idea!
