Several people have mentioned diarrhea as possible allergy to casein. I
am convinced that happens, and is a different animal than lactose
intolerance. The explanation is the presence of Peyer's patches, lymph
tissue in the ileum. If a person has allergy to casein, this lymph
tissue can react and cause various forms of digestive upset.
