Then Jon Lewis asked: Is this really a problem? Do people frequently eat
paint and glue...or can physical contact actually be a problem?

Once we put a drop of milk on a bandaid and put it on my older son's arm (the
pedatrician suggested we feed him a teaspoon of milk just to see what would
happen). From having the milk on his skin he developed breathing problems
and hives all over his entire body. Last week our younger son held hand with
a friend after his friend ate peanutbutter and jelly sandwich and luckily
didn't put his hand in his mouth, but had swollen eyes and rash all over from
where he did touch it to his skin....it took meds and 2 days to clear up the
rash. Would we avoid paints to prevent this? You bet!! (or if you are a
Packer Fan - You betcha!) Paula
