In the vain of GF restaurants, just found out that it appears that most White
Spot Family Restaurants in British Columbia have an "allergy reference manual"
at their front desk. Though not entirely correct (they didn't have their
soups, which included questionable substances, listed as "Wheat Free", most of
their other dishes were listed and/or could be prepared especially for the GF
customer.
Have also found the Tony Roma ribs restaurant (an international chain, I
believe) and the Cheese Cake restaurant in Calgary to be most considerate of
special requests.
