Our daughter was 17 monhs old when she was checked for celiac sprue.
TThe first 1 and a 1/2 years of her life, she went through 2 upper GI's,
2 lower GI's, 2 cystic fibrosis tests, and numerous other blood and
bowel tests. She wieghed over 9 lbs. at birth but only weighed 13.5
lbs. when she turned 1 year old. She was constantly in and out of the
hospital.

When she had the biopsy done, she quit breathing 3 times and had to be
bagged all tthree ttimes to get her to breathe. I say all this to say
that If I had to do it all over again I would do the biopsy to make sure
and end all the suffering she went through.

My question is this, my daughters' teeth are horrible. They are full of
cavities and she brrushes regularly and does not eat many sweets. Does
anyone else have celiac children with teeth that are bad? Thank you for
all the support tthis list is.
