Several listmembers were not familiar with CITRICIDAL.

CITRICIDAL is an extract made from grapefruit seeds and is used primarily
for the treatment of yeast infections (Candida), and as an anti-fungal remedy.

One respondent stated that she and her husband had used CITRICIDAL for years
as a treatment, both internal and topical, for yeast infections. It is, in
their opinion, the most effective non-prescription treatment they have found
for yeast infections. Few, or no side effects have been reported. HOWEVER,
care must be taken to follow directions for diluting the extract or run the
risk of a nasty skin rash. They also use a toothpaste containing CITRICIDAL
extract and feel that it improves gum health. The only problem experienced
was tremendous yeast die-off symptoms for the first week or so (cold
sores/flu-like symptoms/tiredness/diarrhea) Their manufacturer of choice for
both the extract and the toothpaste is NutiBiotic.

Another respondent reported experiencing excellent results using CITRICIDAL
for the treatment of Candida. She also uses it at the first sign of a cold
or flu "because of it's purported anti-bacterial properties".
Again, the choice of manufacturer was NutiBiotic

It would appear that CITRICIDAL when used properly is beneficial and has
few, if any, side effects.

However, it is suggested that, if you are not familiar with CITRICIDAL, you
seek that advice of a health care professional before using it.

Our sincere thanks to those who responded. Hope it helps others as well as us.
