If frames really bug you on a particular site, and you really, really want
to read something in a frame in your browser, print it, download it, or
whatever, try this.
This example uses MSIE 3.02. I have not tried it in netscape, so I don't
know the steps to take, but I feel in my heart of hearts that it would
work, if I knew netscape better.
Go to the site of interest.
Control + tab to get to the frame of interest.
If you can page up and down to hear it scroll, this is it.
Hit alt+v, c to view the source.
Look for lines that say"src=".
The lines might say something like "src=xyz.html."
Paste the name of the file in the quotes to the clipboard.
Go back to your browser.
Put your focus on the address line.
Press end, so the text is no longer highlighted.
Take away all the text after the last slash.
Now paste.
Press Enter.
You may not get the file you want at first, but a little trial and error
will certainly have you browsing a file that no longer is a frame.
Happy sleuthing.
Jim
