hello,

awhile back there was a discussion of text only pages and problems with
them. i have found an example of what i consider an excellent example of
how this can be done with minimal trouble to the web developer and still
provide full access to all pertinant information. as on many frames
pages, one must tramp through a level or two to get to the meat of a web
page and guess which link will take one to the pages with the information.
look at:

www.abcgina.com

this is the page of a radio computer talk show, of interest in it's own
right for a blink. when choosing the text only pages at that site, the
front level of frame links are skipped and one goes directly to the main
information pages. in all other respects, a lynx user has access to what
is really important on the pages to the same degree as a sighted person.
thus, a web page developer does not have to have duplicate pages to keep
current while providing direct access to the good stuff.
