Jim,
And I don't have time to read 50 lists all forwarded to one!

I'm sorry, but I simply see no need to expand the VICUG-L list at
all, nor do I follow your logic of "not having the time" to
subscribe to other lists! As it is, I believe Kelly Ford and
Kelly Pierce are doing a fine job in selecting appropriate things
to forward here, but going much beyond that would, in my opinion,
probably cause a decrease in subscribers! Besides, unless I am
missing something, the title of this list refers to the fact we
are all supposed to be members of a visually disabled computer
users group, meaning I thought topics of discussion should be at
least somewhat related to that fact, but expanding that to
anything related to our shared visual disability, well, that's
taking it too far, at least so far as I am concerned. Besides,
there are already several more general blindness related lists
available, much of the traffic forwarded and duplicate messages
from other lists, and in essence, what you're proposing is
turning this list into exactly the same thing.

I simply don't think the topic guide lines for VICUG-L need
changing at all, or at least not opened up to anything blindness
related, as there are already such lists out there, and not
everyone has the time to read hundreds and hundreds of messages a
day! We have consistantly been made aware of the truly important
blindness topics here in VICUG-L, I suspect that will always be
the case, so my vote is to continue with the status-quo!
